This course provides a foundation of Drupal's potential. Drupal's core functionalities and main modules will be covered, leaving the student confident about the CMS.

Drupal site builder training

Drupal site builder beginner

In this course you will learn Drupal by building a full website with news, events, blogs and users; using the core modules and functionality of the CMS. Documentation about Drupal will be provided.

  • Identify and create content types with specific custom fields
  • Identify and create vocabulary to classify entities

Drupal site builder intermediate

The intermediate site builder course will involve learning Drupal's most powerful modules. Using an existing example site, you will be coached through the steps of building up the site with these modules.

We will also, briefly, review how to install Drupal, create content types and taxonomies: to lay the ground work for learning about the Features module.

Paul Rowell

Paul Rowell has been a developer for over five years, creating online solutions using Drupal for a wide variety of clients. Spending time both agency and client side, he is currently on the development team at BBC Worldwide.

His interactions with the Drupal community include volunteering at DrupalCamp London since 2013, maintaining a contributed module and occasionally blogging about his experiences.

Ronald Ashri

Ronald Ashri has over 15 years of experience in web and distributed networking application development. He has authored and co-authored a variety of books and articles including "Agent-Based Software Engineering", "Professional Java Mobile Programming", and "Professional Java E-commerce".

For the past seven years, Ronald has been focusing exclusively on web application development using Drupal. He has led a Drupal team as a CTO and is now starting up a Drupal's product company, called Roomify, focused on online bookings. Ronald holds a PhD in Computer Science from Southampton University and a BSc from Warwick University.

Vincenzo Gambino

Vincenzo Gambino is a web developer from Palermo, Italy, with seven years of web developer experience – and a member of BrightLemon's development team.

He is a member of the Drupal Association and was an assistant teacher at DrupalCamp London 2013 and 2014. Vincenzo is also the maintainer of two contributed modules for the Drupal community.

John Durance

John Durance has been making websites for five years and is a member of BrightLemon's developer team. He has worked on many websites across several industry sectors.

He has contributed learning materials about web accessibility to the Drupal community and is a regular blogger on Drupal topics.
